Peter Culley (Track Manager) beavers away creating drainage, banks and access roads. Tim takes his turn on the jack hammer. Fortunately, most of the rail is serviceable but occasionally we have to condemn lengths of rail which show clear evidence of damage.

It is great to have an ample reserve of sleepers allowing us to select the best for the line. Peter and Tim at work placing sleepers ready for the follow-up spiking team.

Tim appears to be slave driving his gang but closer inspection reveals that he is offering Graham assistance in wielding the tiny club hammer used to start the spikes.
A bit of humour makes the team work very pleasant.
President Shane Moorhead visits the caravan for morning tea which is being provided by Jenny Cole today - our sincere thanks go to the ladies who provide sustenance to the volunteers on the work gangs.

Today we are sharing the goodies with our President who has come out to give us a welcome "pep" talk. Tony, Harry and Graham share a joke at morning tea. Mostly they have been dodging the photographer! Shane had a full head of hair when he started this railway project!

We are very serious about safety on this project and Arthur takes the role of chief Safety Investigator very seriously! Ace track team at work with everybody telling everybody else how to do things. Good buddies - Harry and Clive. Why sit at home when you can be out with our guys enjoying yourself?
