Index of Rolling Stock - only up to 2010
In 2010 Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway commenced to assemble the rolling stock for its future operations on the branch line. This rolling stock was stored in the yard at Oberon Station and is now in purpose built running sheds. It should be noted that OTHR has lost its accreditation and until that is regained, nothing will run.
73 Class - on 29th May 2010 the two 73 class locos were retrieved from Port Botany and taken to Eveleigh for temporary storage, clean-up and preparation for the haul to Tarana.

To follow the progress of the task faced in getting the locos to Oberon, click on the link to the right --------->

The following thumbnails show the rollingstock in, or scheduled for the program.

Locomotives   Carriages Goods Wagons Perway
OTHR has purchased 7307 and 7321 to provide the primary motive power on the line. One unit will be used on work trains and the other on revenue service. Each to back up the other. OTHR has rolling stock on custodial loan from other heritage operators and the ORH. We expect that this may expand as other operators and owners choose to utilise the facilities of the Oberon Branch line. OTHR is assembling a small number of goods wagons similar to those utilised on the line in the past. We intend to display a rake of wagons chosen to represent work on the line in its heyday. Work on the permanent way will require some maintenance trains for the fettlers. In its simplest form this will be a section car but further down the branch a work train will be required.
